Double Gold in a Separable Overall

When “Gold Rosi’s” (Rosi Mittermaier) finest hour comes, the BOGNER company had already had decades of experience in outfitting German alpine skiers at the Winter Olympics. In the 1950s, Maria Bogner caused a sensation with her innovative wedge pants. In 1976, before the Winter Games in Innsbruck, Willy Bogner Jr was responsible for the Olympic design for the first time. He developed an aerodynamic, fleece-lined stretch overall in which Rosi Mittermaier was to write skiing history - silver in the giant slalom, gold in the slalom and gold in the downhill! At the victory bash afterwards, she casually zips off the top of the suit - a divisible ski overall, an innovation from Willy Bogner Jr! Years later, Mittermaier said this about it, “Willy is truly one-of-a-kind in his depiction of Olympic history.” Her husband Christian Neureuther added, “Willy Bogner stands for winter sports, spectacular images and Olympic history.” Words that were to be true many more times - because the DSV racers collected many more Olympic medals in BOGNER racing suits!

Willy is truly one-of-a-kind in his depiction of Olympic history.
